We believe that giving back is the single most important part of any business. That is why Cycling Solutions volunteers at local non-profits, leads beginner group rides for new cyclists, and takes part in many local events and programs.

If you’re new to the area or just looking to meet other local cyclists these groups and organizations are incredible resources!

Evansville Mountain Bike Association

Southern Indiana’s Chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA)

This group is wonderful for connecting with other trail riders and learning about trail work days, group rides, weekend day trips, and fundraisers for area trails. Members of this group volunteer hundreds of hours a year to trail maintenance in the area. Without them the trails in the area would be a lot different. Consider joining EMBA and coming to trail work days! Most mountain bike trails are ALL VOLUNTEER built and maintained so every little bit you can give goes a long way.

Patchwork Central- Bike Shop

Patchwork’s Bike Shop provides bicycles for individuals who depend on them for transportation. We accept used bicycles that we re-condition in our studio before we give them away.

In addition to used bikes, we can accept new tires, tubes, and bike locks–the items that we need most often to make a donated bike roadworthy and safe.

The bike shop is coordinated by Pete Emery and is open most Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
